David Minor
Group Lead

 David is Project Manager for several projects within the organization. He also directs several data initiatives within SDSC. He has worked previously for libraries at the Universities of New Mexico and Wisconsin as well as Penn State University. He has also held several systems administration positions in the commercial sector. He can be reached at minor@sdsc.edu.

 

 

Robert is lead for new data alliances within the group. He is leading several new efforts for proposals and grants with external partners. Prior to coming to SDSC, he led technology programs in the research libraries of Auburn University and Florida State University. He can be reached at mcdonald@sdsc.edu.

Ardys is the Technical Outreach Librarian for the UCSD Libraries. We've claimed her for ourselves however. She doesn't realize what this means just yet. Only time will tell.

Much of Ardys' current work is focused on digital preservation, especially in collaboration with SDSC. Additionally, she works on technology-based grant projects for UCSD, from grant writing to project management, depending on the needs of a particular project. Before coming to UCSD, Ardys spent 12 years working in architecture collections at Harvard University, UC Berkeley, the University of Texas at Austin, and Payette Associates (a Boston-based architecture firm) as a librarian and archivist. She received a BA from the University of Michigan and an MS in Library and Information Science from Simmons College.
